The Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet
- Sekhmet (meaning “The Powerful One”) is depicted as a lioness and was both a Warrior Goddess and the Goddess of the Healing Arts. The Warrior side of Sekhmet represents the ability to remove “evil spirits”, whereas Sekhmet’s Healing Arts are used to alchemically transform diseased tissues into healthy tissues.
